I dont have to declare any more that I am anuraag kashyap(hes the indian christopher nolan) smitten at this particular point of time...reason -- I saw DEV D and cause - I did see 'BLACK FRIDAY' and 'NO SMOKING(!!)'....
I will try not to provide any contents of adulation towards Mr. Kashyap in my talks but he deserves certain credits for his exceptional work towards cinema as an art.
For my writing on topic like this..it would have been sincere insincerity towards my love of movies had I any more delayed this subject..moreover other subjects would have been way out of line or rather boring to my limited readers(if there are any - but I can certainly count on Jatin! thanx brother...)
So ...movies....
speaking of them...they are a BIG BIG source of almost every kind of information today and more importantly it no longer just entertainment......modern day cinema has evolved to an extent where movies have become an experience...In this context DEV D turns out to be cinematographic brilliance...and best part is - its an indian product..
more obvious reason being its practical approach to a what was as yet depicted superficial theme ( guy going gaga over girl....grrrr). you will definitely relate to a abhay deol drinking down a Smirnoff vodka over a dhoti wala SRK drinking some color drink in some green batli at some fancy place....moreover - direction..screenplay..acting..cinematography -- all brilliant..
same goes for other anuraag kashyap movies (including NO SMOKING - although I couldnt understand it)...
there have been other equally remarkable works in recent years and I do have the same appreciation for them too ...
talking about angreji pikchar walas - the hollywood i mean, I just dont understand how they make so much of so good movies at such a frequency.....ok guys times up..gharwalle gaalliyan de rahe hain...."sara din computer par laga rahta hai..akal dhele bhar ki bhi nahi hai mue ko...chal bhindi lekar aa......."....srry for that...typed what i heard....gtg
Still kudos AK for DD...and for guys...watch ' GULAAL' on 13th march ..next AK direction..
